Choosing Background, Text, and Hypertext Colors

Select the Text radio button and select the desired color for all text in your store. The default text color is black.

Select the Hypertext radio button and select the desired color for all hypertext in your store. The default hypertext color is black.

Select the Background radio button and select the desired color for the background of your store. The default background color is white. If you are using a transparent background graphic, a background color may also be selected.

When selecting colors, it is a good idea to keep a general color scheme. Remember that more is not always better! The extended colors will default to a standard color when viewed on a monitor that is set at less than 256 colors. For example, if you choose crimson from the Extended Colors palette as your background color, the background will be red on a monitor set at less than 256 colors.
